Ladybugs (3’s)

MWFWelcome to United Methodist Child Development Center! We would like to share some information about the quality of our program. UMCDC is a developmentally appropriate school. We promote learning through play, open-ended art, positive socialization and following directions.
Class begins at 9 am and on the table outside our classroom, a message board will keep you informed about our daily activities and special events. Please share this information with your child to stimulate oral communication; this is an important element to reading readiness. At dismissal time we will dismiss the children one by one so that they are able to check their cubby and leave with the approved person.
Our classrooms and playgrounds are rich with activities and materials that aid in the development of language, cognitive and motor skills (fine and large). We provide a positive and nurturing environment for learning. The children are given many choices to create and experience their surroundings. The joy of learning and building a strong self esteem are two of our most important goals.
