MWFOur aim is to assist in the total development of a child’s social, emotional intellectual, and physical growth, so that the child will be better prepared for life and able to adjust to the changing conditions of their environment. Our program is both age and individually appropriate; that is, the program is designed for the age group served and implemented with attention to the needs and differences of the individual children.
We offer the following~
- Self-confidence and self-esteem
- A sense of responsibility for themselves and their actions
- Independence
- Cooperation with others and a sense of community
- Initiative and self-motivation
- Daily routines (snack, circle time)
- Introduction to Alphabet awareness
Throughout the year we work on social/emotional development, the process by which they learn values and behaviors accepted by society.
Physical development (large motor and fine motor), Moving large body parts consciously and deliberately. Fine motor, coordinating small muscles in the hands and wrists with dexterity.
Cognitive development, thinking logically by problem solving and making sense of gathered information by comparing, contrasting, sorting, classifying, counting, measuring and recognizing patterns.
Language development, an understanding of communication through words, spoken and written.
Our teachers also attend workshops and/or conferences every year to keep up to date on any new information gathered about child development. We strive to do the best job possible and have fun doing it.
