March is here, and it’s going to be a very busy month. We will continue our unit on Community Helpers, with a visit from fire fighters and a police officer. We will be focusing on people in our community and the jobs they do.
We have some fun process art planned that will allow the children to create whatever they can imagine. We will be reading Not A Box, Shape of Things, Mouse Paint, and Dot, Dot, At the Museum. These are some of the fun books to foster creative thinking.
Later in the month, we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by wearing green, sorting Lucky Charms, and dancing to Irish music. Other topics this month include springtime, weather, light refractions, and metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly.
Important Dates:
Friday, March 15th – Wear green.
Wednesday, March 27: Share day. Bring a baby photo.
