May will be a very busy month! We will be working on Mother’s Day gifts, exploring animals, and talking about food and nutrition. We will learn about wild animals and where they live, and what makes them unique. We will also explore household pets and the people who take care of them.
We are hoping to encourage the children to develop an innate love for animals. A recent research study shows that children who are supported in their love for animals tend to be more sensitive and caring toward other people as well. So, by supporting children’s love for animals, we are helping nurture those all-important feelings of connection.
